About Jennifer Barker

Perimenopausal mom with a 15 year old daughter and a 3 year old soon to be step daughter. Recently engaged to Bradley Goldman, my business partner at Nutrition Built Strength. Fun fact – he is 10 years younger than I am.

Grew up in Denver, Colorado where I met Dawn. Left my 18-year long career in nonprofit fundraising where I was on the national teams for American Heart Association and March of Dimes to pursue my passion for Weight Loss and Nutrition. Since having my daughter in 2009 I lost 90 pounds, with a series of yo yo diets along the way. I tried every fad there is: WW, Isagenix, Keto, Atkins, South Beach, drinking alo vera, cleanses etc. but it wasn’t until I learned about the science of nutrition and macros that my life truly changed.

I have now been able to maintain that weight loss even as hormones have reaered their ugly head. I now run Nutrition Built Strength, an online nutrition company that helps women lose weight and break the yo yo dieting cycle once and for all. We have a team of Registered Dietians who work 1:1 with our clients by creating custom meal plans and personalized workout calendars. We’ve helped over 550 women lose over 12,000 pounds since 2021. I also am an avid Peloton user and have helped grow numerous online Peloton communities over the years as well.
